Made my first $ from travel affiliate today

Didn't make much at all (and it isn't finalized) but just wanted to share. I had recently signed up for the program (about a month ago) and had up to thousands of impressions but only 3 clicks. Changed a few things here and there and got more clicks, finally leading to the first $. However, this has motivated me to work harder and also made me realize that some of you out there are definitely making $$$$$ out of this...If anyone has any tips please feel free to comment

the other day i was in vacation an some american guys ask me where they can get a cheap meal (no mc or BG around)
i nicely send them to the outsite burger guy on the corner
no commion for that lead

Like their UI BTW, but keep in mind that the order may be canceled by the customer, along with your commission. Happened to me. Just keep in mind for better ROI calculations.
