Hey guys,

According to rumors from the 1. Of September everybody will be able to run paid ig ads through the fb ads manager. Let's collect some ideas on how to use this.

Ideas from me:
- promote main account
- promote app downloads
- teespring campaigns
- set up dropshipping/affiliate shops and promote them
- open a IG advertising agency

Let me know what you are planning!

Damn. They should have made the IG ad manager seperate from FB. They've banned my account awhile ago..

Instagram has worked extremely well for me. Yes, they can be picky. But when you manage to get through, Instagram generates a lot of views and clicks for a very moderate price $0.04

how exactly can we use ads to promote our main pages? i don't really understand how this will work, i have a 103K page, so i buy an ad and then it'll be promoted through other peoples mobile feeds? like whatever i want posted directing to my main page to add followers? how much will these cost and will they even be beneficial? someone please enlighten me a little more i'm kind of confused

just started a teespring campaign with instagram ads, about 15$ in and no conversion. Got about 90 likes on the ad and 50 website clicks.

just tried instagram for app installs and it was a complete waste of time. $4cpi compared to $0.10 on Facebook itself. you can't advertise an instagram account either, so back to shoutouts we go!

It's a tough one, very hard to get approval. Had a campaign going up to $120/day profit then they suddenly stopped it. Still waiting for their response.

Actually, to hell with Facebook/Instagram. Stick with pop-ad sources.

What was your campaign? I only tried teespring yet, im looking for other ideas.

Why would they stop that kind of campaign? Are affiliate links not permitted in IG/FB ads?

They are not getting back to me regarding this. Am not interested either, spent tons of money on Facebook Ad accounts already, not worth the trouble.

To everyone, for mobile traffic, stick with pop-ad traffic sources+Go2Mobi+Zeropark. Instagram is just not worth it.
