Building Feedback 1 cent Recipe Auctions

As a way to rack positive feedback, I started bidding on 1 cent recipe auctions. All the auctions say that they will deliver the recipe via email or pdf format. I'm super confused because although I don't really care about the recipe or receiving it, the sellers don't ever send me the recipes. They leave feedback instantly like within seconds and of course I will leave positive feedback in return but am I suppose to wait for them to send the actual recipe or is this really just a hidden feedback auction cover up.

yes, for long term success your goal should be building accounts that can withstand manual review. You do a bunch of 1 cent transactions and start listing high risk items = ban.

I didn't think about it like that. I only purchased 8 of them because it gets kind of annoying after awhile. Besides that anyone who clicks on my feedback score can clearly see that I was purchasing 1 cent recipes, there is only two of them that are private. Most buyers should be aware that paypal doesn't release the funds until after the item is received anyways. It's not like buying something from someone with "0" feedback is such a scary thing. I agree with paypal for doing that, I don't mind waiting for the funds.

Most buyers should be aware that paypal doesn't release the funds until after the item is received anyways. It's not like buying something from someone with "0" feedback is such a scary thing. I agree with paypal for doing that, I don't mind waiting for the funds.

It's a GOOD thing if you're a legitimate seller. It cut down seller fraud by 80% when they instituted it. Before that the biggest scam on eBay was new selling accounts listing high value stuff and then disappearing as soon as they got paid. Having a paypal hold has pretty much killed off that scam.

Funny you say that. When I first started out I hated it

Nowadays I actually really appreciate the 90 day hold.. keeps the system clean..(er)

there are plenty of other ways to build feedback.......hmmmm let me see oh I know get a good low cost non vero product ....sell it .....ship it....take care of customers oh and yeah they will give good feedback .....omg do it right did you just say ....yes lol
