Managing Proxies (newb Q)

What's the best way to manage proxies? I don't need too many different ones at the moment but curious how others switch between them. Is there a cool tool out there? Thanks in advance!

NB - Yes, I read the stickies but curious if there is a more simple/current tool.

Just over a browser at this stage. I'm just wary of logging into say 5 Twitter accounts from the same IP via browser but want the easiest way. I guess I can use something like Hola (yes?) but also seeking a solution/tool specifically for the purpose.
