Anyone know about this site. It looks like nothing has been written for a while but the content is amazing. It's all old though. Is anyone familiar with this site and if his tactics are still applicable?

Eli knows his stuff but take his advice with a grain of salt as those were made during the wild wild west. Some of the posts are still applicable though, like the database site etc.

Eli is one of the best SEO's in the wild west days. I was thinking about doing a blog post on the inconsinstency of the SEO industry. I have ranked some of the hardest and most competitive terms in my day and Eli in his day has worked wonders and even was nice enough to blog about the tactics. He now runs an excellent affiliate program so that may tell you about how the industry changes. There is a wealth of information on there and some of it may still work today but what does and doesnt work anymore can only be proven by you testing it.

Yeah Eli's blog was one of the go to blogs way back when for SEO. In fact there used to be a few decent SEO blogs but it seems over the past couple of years the ones actually worth reading have been abandoned. THis is party what inspired me to create my own blog/tutorials as there wasn't anything like it around at the moment.
