About Clickbank changes? I think I should quit.

Hello beautiful people of clickbank,
this is my first post on bhw forum, but I am not new here.

Last 5-6 months I am making 2-3k per month and I am pretty happy about that. but I have got a mail from clickbank. They told me about changes that's going to happen, and I think they SUCK! About marketplace and links, I don't really care about that changes but the way you buy product, DAMN! People should make account on clickbank to purchase product, I think that is peace of SH"". Why? People are lazy enough to press buy button, and now you want from them to press buy, then make account on clickbank, then login in their e-mail, then read TOS of clickbank, then buy product?!What are you thinking? Maybe i'm just sceptical, but i think that really sucks. I'm thinking about moving to another affiliate network, but that would badly affect my website. So people, can you tell me what do you think about new changes?

So THAT'S why everybody was mad about clickbank's changes,I thought it was because people said there would be a clickbank logo on the products checkout page now.Honestly though man,if you're making that much with clickbank check and see if JVzoo has some good products in your niche,I'm not really into affiliate marketing(but getting into it)but I've seen enough crap products on clickbank to where I had to just flat out google does clickbank have any legit products and in the mist I found people saying JVzoo was better for the most part.

At the moment I am not sure how to "move" all my work to other aff network because everything is focused on product from clickbank. I can't believe what clickbank did to us...

Hmm, does sound like thats a bad idea for sellers as it will invariably reduce the CTR/sales. Of course its clever from Clickbank though because they really want to capture those buyers I guess.

Not sure where you got that from but that is NOT TRUE AT ALL!!
I laughed out loud at people who believed that and thought it was the case!
The changes that will be involved are extremely minor and certainly do not involve prospective customers having to create a CB account and reading their TOS. Anyone who wants to read about exactly what will be involved, check out:

What they tried to do wasn't minor though. They tried to take control over everybody's websites, put their header and logo at the top, put a link to their marketplace that would take traffic away from the seller's (vendor) own website and steal affiliate traffic too, and change the seller's website address to a CB address. That's not very minor lol.

Now they changed their plans because everybody got pissed and threatened to leave. But they still want to do some of it (if you read their message), they are trying to figure out how they can make people let them do it now. Not easy since everybody figured out their BS and nobody wants this but Clickbank!

Also your post that you linked still does not say "exactly what will be involved" it just says they still want to force everyone to put Clickbank's brand on their websites. Even though so many people already told them go to hell.

Starting to promote CB products now would be very very stupid. Go to other aff networks.

I don't understand why when a customer purchases an clickbank product on the transaction it says they purchased "clickbank" and not the product name.

That one change would help a lot, clickbank needs to REMOVE their damn name from everything not add to it.

These people have 0 idea what clickbank is, they only know the website they are on and the products name then they see "clickbank"

That name itself is weird as hell to a normal person, they just purchased a product and now they think some bank shit is going on lol.

Additionally you will have to put a clickbank logo on your product landing page now

Clickbank are the reseller. As a merchant, you're selling your stuff "wholesale" to Clickbank. They then resell it to the end-customer, which is why their name shows up on your credit card.

This means then that Clickbank are legally allowed to handle the commission payments and take care of other annoying stuff for merchants.
