Search Through Youtube Comments

Hi guys- does anyone know of a way to find every youtube video containing a comment with a particular phrase? eg. "example phrase is an example".

if not, is there a way to allow scrapebox to do this? thanks

Well one super simple way would be to open the video, keep scrolling down clicking 'show more' then hit ctrl +f and search the term your looking for

Sorry it should've said find every youtube "VIDEO" that contains that particular comment. It's late lol - edited now. Would you have any other ideas?

To be honest mate ive never come across a tool that can do this, you could probably use the hire a freelancer section to pay someone to build a bot.

Shouldn't think it would be too expensive since the task seems quite simple

IS the comments your looking for in the html of the page? Meaning load the page in a browser with javascript turned Off. Then do the ctrl+U (don't inspect the element) and search for the comment, is it there?

That or can you pull this up in google, as in site:youtube "your comment" etc... ?

Because if so Scrapebox could do it, most likely anyway. IF you can give some very specific examples I can give you more details.

also as you suggested I tried ctrl+U on a video and ctrl+f couldn't find a comment's words both with javascript on & off. I'm guessing this won't allow scrapebox to work.

No problem, if the phrase isn't "unique" then there's no way it will show up unless you can remember something unique that was on every single one of those videos.

Well I was thinking you could use the page scanner to qualify a page if it had the phrase, but if its not in the html, then that won't work. If you could find some rendetion of a youtube url that would leave the comment in the html and give you what you want, then you could use the page scanner to qualify pages (assuming the comment was not also in the title or elsewhere you didn't want it)

That said you could also try the scraping, but its not something have tried in depth.

If I were going to tackle it I would try to figure a way to get google.com to return the results you want, even if you then have to filter them somehow. And then go from there.
