The main differences is Medusa is a long term with less OBL on real looking static websites.
Kratos is a blog network with quicker results.
I would consider Medusa more service similar to Sape type links but with much higher safety as privately owned.

The difference is if you order sticky posts they stay on the homepage forever.
If you order regular posts they roll off the homepage after a period of time.
