I have noticed a little trick where links that are showing up on search engine results are getting hijacked. You click on the link and instead of going to that link you are somehow redirected to another site. How is this done

serp page shall not contain any user injected script from the sites listed. Otherwise, the search engine need work on that.

One possible cause is spyware infection. Some will insert hijack code to any webpages including serp, just like antivirus programs do.

I have a example of a link that came up in the serp. If you would be interested in checking it out send me a pm. I find lots of links like this in googles results. Because pharm companies are very aggressive marketers I do searches on viagra, cialis, and levitra to see where these marketers are putting their links - then I do the same thing. I am not in the pharm industry but what works for them will surely work for me.

i pmed you something sourcecheck. please also tell me the link.

A few months ago i had this too...
My pc was infected with a trojan and everytime I searched with google and clicked on a link I was redirected to some blackhat site's
You can try to search with yahoo or something similar or you can try to use an antivirus/-trojan...

My pc was so full of crap that I formatted it, so I can't give you any more advice.

This isnt every link that comes up, just certain ones, and the redirects are to different sites I do reg. antivirus scans so it has nothing to do with that. This is some sort of blackhat trick that once i figure it out I will have to keep it to myself since some people on this forum are a wee bit pissed that I even brought it up. :o

2 people already answered you, to use 301 redirect. you dont understand. i wrote for you the exact code , you still dont understand and open more threads.

ill say it again, maybe your not gonna open 3 more threads, so please refresh this one ok?

<script>window.location='yourdomain.com'</script>

And also your number of posts doesnt give any credibility, what do you expect?

Yeah it usually happens to you when your machine is compromised with a trojan or spyware. They infect your manchine and redirects your search results to any page they want. I believe that's the only way I know of
