Last week i tried to login to my clickbank account as usual but every time i input login details it shows "Bad credentials". Then i submitted ticket to clickbank support with details. The next day i receive reply from them as flowing:

"
This account has been terminated due to fraudulent transactions."

Then i reply to it as following:
"
Could you please clarify what you mean fraudulent transactions?"

They reply as follows:
"
Due to security concerns we cannot release further details concerning account termination or the data our system collects."

After that i ask them whether this banned is permanent, is there any way i can get this account back, also asking what will happen to the earning for this month... they didn't clarify anything but sent the same reply "Due to security concerns we cannot release further details..

As far my knowledge i didn't use any blackhat technique or any other technique which could raise security concern. I use only PPC and FB to drive traffic to the offer. Anyway the main reason i am writing this post is to aware my fellow Blackhat members about clickbank. I am not saying don't promote clickbank product(who am i to say that) or they are fraud but try not to put all your eggs into one basket. I consider myself quite fortunate because i didn't spend too much on PPC and also my earning for this month was not a huge amount. But imagine someone spend lot of money and time on PPC and other traffic method and just before receiving cheque from clickbank, they banned your account, how will it make you feel? BIG REASON TO WORRY!!!

If you think i wrote this post out of disappointment, i won't deny it completely because this is completely unacceptable and ridiculous. Clickbank is not so reliable as i use to think.

I see lots of people complaining about CB bans. OP you was direct linking CB products ? May vendor dont allow direct linking or may they get some complaints ? You have to contact vendor directly. Or call CB may be you find reason and get your account back.

I had also thought that OP received a complaint either from an angry consumer or a disgruntled competitor.

If this is indeed the case, then I'm honestly surprised Clickbank did anything about as I had done all kinds of wacky things with my Clickbank account a couple of years ago such as: direct linking in PPC, comment spam with direct links, printing flyers with QR codes and leaving them around town, spam and more spam; I didn't care! The worst that ever happened was a vendor blocked me from promoting his shoddy product, but this only happened once.

If you are using a domain that you bought only for linking the salespage of the vendor then dont frame it!
I got almost kicked for the same reason but i asked the vendor what happened...

Hey wealthcracker,

I am not sure but maybe you would have done something which is against their terms of service so it can be one reason because there is no reason for clickbank to terminate your account without any reason.

Hope this helps.

I also happen the same thing, But I don't know how to against their terms of service. I don't know why? I think they also terminate our accout without any reason. They do what they want.

Sorry about your account and earnings mate...

This is the biggest problem of our business. We are not independent, if our affiliate network decides to ban us (for whatever reason) then we lose all of our earnings that were not payed out.

Hope the loss were not that big for you OP.

Not always like that mate. We are independent. We choose who and who to work with and also our different marketing styles forgetting to always read Terms Of Services of these companies. In this scenario, i guess someone must have reported him and the issue reported on goes against TOS. As someone already suggested, talk to them on phone as you'll keep getting same replies if you're still emailing.

Just give them a call at +1 208-345-4245 and they said regarding this they can't do anything as this is absolutely handled by abuse department. I also ask them if there is any number i can contact the abuse department but unfortunately they don't have any number. The decision to terminate any account is fully controlled by abuse department. They can terminate any account if they wish without providing any clarification whether you like it or not its the fact.

Sorry to know about the ban OP. Looks like Clickbank too is going the Google way !

happened to me to was running fb to cb with direct linking and got ban

Do you have an in-person relationship with Clickbank?

EDIT: Everyone, he is a platinum vendor of clickbank, not just an affiliate.

Just to make sure you are not confusing the OP with myself. For some reason, the OP is using my EXACT SAME avatar, and that has gotten people confused in the past.

HAHA! Sorry! I was on my cellphone and I saw this last night and just looked at the avatar. I thought that was pretty strange!

I just noticed that you two had the same avatar. :p

"Don't use the same custom avatar as someone else". That's Black Hat World etiquette right there!
