Do I Need To Create a PBN For My First Adsense Site?

Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster (first forum I've truly ever been able to say this!).

So I've been doing a lot of reading and want to build a niche Adsense site and also add some affiliate products at some point in time.

I've read plenty on Keyword research but I decided to pay $7 to a service on here for one (I figured I wanted it done "right" the first time).

I've also read plenty about getting good content (I plan on getting 2 1000 word articles and 8 500), promoting through social media (seems to be done by making social media pages for each site, paying some services on here and I want to use a like jacker).

However, backlinks are an area where I think I will need some work on. My original plan was to follow some blogs related to my niche, email the website owners, take a legit interest in their site etc and then ask if they want to co-sponsor an article or something (what I learned from the "6 ways to increase your traffic" thread.).

However, I am wondering do I need to create a PBN, or at least would it be massively beneficial? Maybe not now but some day along the line? Thanks!

At some point you'll want to make a PBN, but you don't want to start with one, given it's your first site. Try out the other link building methods first, see what works for you, before comparing all that to PBNs.

I always use some free link types when linking, along with my PBN. It's tempting to just post links and get a head start, but that usually makes it harder for me to crack the top5. Instead, I push as much as I can with free links, then once on page 1, start pushing with the PBN.

Web2.0s, press releases, PBN, citations (for local). I would do them myself if I was you, until you learn how it works. After you know what you're doing, you can outsource.
