For Fun - Ringtones + Bluetooth Hijacking = $$

First of all, this method has potential, BUT can be considered illegal, but the way people promote ringtones are unethical, they simply deceive people to give their mobile number and then validate the pin.

This is just an idea, so no bashing please..

Please also note that I have not tried this method as I am not in US, UK or Canada, and most offers are limited to those countries.

I am a big fan of Windows mobiles as I am programmer I love to have windows in my hands, currently I have Samsung Omnia which is awesome..

Anyhow, the point is that there are a few Bluetooth hijacking software, which will hack into other's mobiles, I have had fun with it in parties usually and in public parks, because I can grab Messages, contact list of beautiful chicks in the parties/public place : lol - EVIL.. and even get their number by calling from their phone to my own number.

Now, take your laptop and go to a crowded place, like parks, tube station, etc etc and then search for the bluetooth active devices, once you find them you can make a call form them, OR fill the number (offer) from your laptop, read and activate the pin from his numbe directly from your phone.

I am not sure how much leads you can generate but atleast it is fun doing I am not mentioning the software name as it was recently banned in Germany, so you can google and find it quickly..

yeah that software is available on most of the sites , even simple google search can get that.
but i think these bluetooth hacking softwares lack in one thing.
i think you first have to approve your device to be able to connect with other's device by adding the security codes in both mobile phones.

otherwise how can it get into other;s mobiles without the approval.

i don't know , maybe there are softwares that can bypass the authentication .

First of all iframing a ringtone is pretty unethical(maybe even illegal), but it has an extra layer of protection cause they aren't charged until they confirm it.

On the other hand, you are literally stealing money from people doing this, and even more than that, as you said it, you are stealing their information. That is not okay. I would not be okay with someone doing that to me. This is literally no different than pulling up a gun to someones head, and robbing them.

now to others, there are software who do not need approval, I didn't try and I cant try since where I am all the fuckers are lame and usually don't buy anything, so its useless for me. The software only work with the system who has old bluetooth technology but it is still there in most of the mobiles.

I mentioned in my first post this can be "considered illegal" only if the way other fucker do the CPA fill outs, email submits and how they tell their success stories of $50K with ringtones, do you know they deceive people by telling them that if they submit the pin they will receive blah blah blah, and they never know that they will be charged $10-$15 subscription FEE, and any new user does that quickly, is that legal ? if so you are asshole.

when you are asleep anyone can use your mobile, you child ? you GF ? family member ? who knows who submited that pin ..
