Can you share us what techniques you were using? Obviously you used black hat techniques to rank, but did you leave an obvious footprint (e.g. thousands of spammy links using GSA directly to your website) or did you take a more cautious approach?

You do not get a manual penalty from Penguin

Penguin is an algorithm that devalues spam

You get manual penalties from links such as Sape and PBN...

sape and pbn links will get your site penalized only if you overdo it. You should disavow all shady links, add quality content/links and request a review.

Yeah I have not had any manual actions to my site. Nothing in webmasters tools for me. It has been about a week. How long do you all suggest I wait it out for? It does not seem to be getting any better.

OH yeahhhh, you are so right! Remember my thread about one of my websites get a full penalty? Well..all of my websites listed on
webmaster tools got a full penalty later that day. ALL OF THEM. Just one got a "pure spam" report. The others are "low content/quality". The thing is some of then I totally agree, they are just websites with duplicate content, sites I use to make SEO experiences. But websites with one month old, with good quality posts and unique content also got penalized. Are you kidding me?? What the real f*ck is going on with big G????

Anyway, I am writing good qualiy content to add to my websites and I will request a review to save my babies, not the spammy ones, I will leave my month shut, they are right about this ones. But really, if G deny websites with quality content (written by native English) with no spam backlinks, good looking, no spam (did I mentioned spam already), no shit, no anchor text over optimized...men, I just hope that I am not the only one going down. Internet is so full of shitty websites, I will personally do a list of spammy looking shit websites and personally deliver to G on their Headquarters and slap someone with that big list on their faces!

Hello, here's what i experienced yesterday.

My website ranked 3rd position for a keyword i have been targetting for some months now and the website which was ranking 3rd was totally removed from the first 5th position.

BUT after like 2 days, everything came back normal. The previous website got back to it's former position of 3 and my website got back to it's previous position.

My candid advice to you, is to let everything be, don't even touch your site seo settings, wait for like a week and if nothing happens, then you can do anything worth doing.

One has to work very cautiously for his site not to get penalized, if it does then one should know the correct method to remove penalty, its a very deliberate work.

I haven't received any alert from GWMT but I am hoping to receive it eventually (because of the spammy links). Lets see what happens, whether my site gets penalized or it gets back to ranking.

i have 4 website on webmaster console, but 3 others doesn't get penalty. i have different method on different site.

So this is what my rankings are looking like right now. Sometimes they come back and then just disappear again. Just figured I would keep everybody up to date. I will continue to wait to see what happens. If nothing happens in the next three days I will have to do something.

It can't be penguin because it's not running yet, they say in a month or two. And after that it will be permanently integrated into their search algorithm.
