My huge site got hit by Negative SEO@@@!!!!!

I have a site that had been on 1POS for all it's keywords for the past year.
I was adding unique content each week.
My site had very good links (wikipedia, linkedin, Whosington post, Etc..)

In the last two month, I went down for more then 50% in traffic and going down to POS 5-7 on search engine results.
I went to google webmastertools and I saw more then 10,000 links were made to my site, most of them are comments links with my original keywords linking to my money site & money pages.
Moreover, I've noticed that most of the links were created at the same date (by the date next to each comment on each spam link) and I noticed one of the comments had the same username that was used to do a good SEO to my competition, so I guess that he is doing the Negative SEO.
(he is now ranking 1#-2#)

I've already disavowed those links but my site keeps going down each day & I'm getting new links each day that I need to disavow.

What Can I do to recover from this?
Maybe I should send an email message to google webmastertools team?
Have someone here recovered from such an attack (large amounts of spam links with the same anchor text that you are trying to rank)?

How old is your site? And how long ago did the links happen? It sounds like you're doing the standard operations, so if your site has enough authority and age it may simply bounce back shortly.

just 1 year. That's why it was so easy to do a NEG SEO attack on my site.
I saw that most of the links the webmastertools discovered was indexed just now (in the last week) but was created at 13/04/2015.
I don't know if it's because WMT indexed them just now and more will come (WMT is quite slow you all know) or it is because it's all comments on old blog pages so it's takes time for google to crewel them again and index the new links.

You have to add as much detail as possible at the disavow time and contact the webmastertools team. Also, ask the question in google webmaster help forums, you may get a quick response..

Most effective is, Send some thousands of spam to that newly ranking site as tit for tat. He will surely stop then.

3. payback - 200,000 comment shitty links are on the way.
4. email to WMT - do you think it will help? do you know where to send to? (which email address)

How would you know that you're targeting the right person? That's a horrible idea.

I recommend you to participate in Google webmaster Hangout session with John Mueller. Raise your complaint there. BTW wait for one month once you disavow the links.

From my experience with negative SEO... drop your domain and get a new one.

Disavowing links takes absolutely forever. Google Reconsideration Requests require you have proof you've contacted every single website owner and asked for the link to be removed.

Reconsideration takes absolutely ages and are extremely strict.

We tried to repair the damage done and follow Googles rules, but ended up 6 months and 3 failed reconsideration requests later with no change whats so ever to the sites penalty.

If you do want to go down the recovery path, you're looking at months before your site *might* return to its former glory.

My advice is use another domain and don't even consider redirecting your old domain in any way!

I've honestly never heard of this before. In fact I'll go ahead and say it : he will get ZERO feedback from Google about rankings.
