"Google's Gary Illyes said today at SMX East that next Penguin update will be in the "foreseeable" future,..."

I would say that they are testing this now, they are out killing backlinks with the penguin. Would explain all the reported flux in the serps.

Makes no sense... Shouldn't be penguin. I lost pages with no backlinks or like, one backlink from a forum that was real. Some of the pages don't even have backlinks. They've fucked up.

A very large percentage of my backlink profile consists of web 2.0 buffers. Could it be that they are deleting web 2.0 backlinks?
