Hi guys.

Quick question. When i bought a few domains a while back, they had great TF/CF and were within the recommended ratio.

I have recently checked these domains, and a few of them are now showing poor TF/CF? eg : TF 9 CF 28

Should i remove the links i have on them as it could affect my rankings? Or leave them as the backlinks are still ok?

Cheers

I've spent many months getting PBN domains and checked many thousands of different domains. Can't say I've came across a single one with similar metrics like - TF 9 CF 28 without it being extremely spammy and shitty. It won't impact your rankings negatively provided it's not spammed or had foreign content/used as a PBN it in the past.

P.S. When picking a domain check that it has at least 5 TF10+ backlinks, otherwise it's not even worth registration/hosting price.

Thanks for the reply mate, but i dis say in the original post, when i first bought these domains, they had good metrics eg : TF18 CF22 , TF16 CF24 etc...

Now about 6 months later, the metrics are poor?

How are the backlinks? If they are still fine and non-spammy, then you should keep the link.

As long as there is no penalty associated with a link, I don't see the negative in keeping the link.

But to say should you buy this domain with these metrics? Probably not, the ROI is probably not good enough. Since you've already made the investment, might as well squeeze the all the returns you can get out of the domain.

Yes, domains losses backlinks as time passes - TF/CF goes down, that's why you need to add new links on a regular monthly basis.

Old domains decrease in metrics just because internet is growing , something being deleted and tons of new sites are being registered. Its better to choose domains with similar TF/CF, for example tf/cf 10/10 is better than TF/CF 6/26.

No need to remove the links. Create more.

I would also go with keeping the links as is, no point in rocking the boat because of some drop in your Majestic stats.

You also have to remember the way majestic fresh index works. Some links will fall out of the fresh index just because majestic hasn't revisited that page in a few months.

I would not remove the link just make sure before you re-register it you take another look at the link profile.

If the domain lost some good links then I would not re-register it.
