i own 4 pages that are all pretty old and haven't had bots on them in months and i haven't been doing any mass follow/unfollow for weeks, i've just been posting normally (car pictures) to my almost 200K between my accounts and doing nothing wrong but over the past 2-3 days i've gotten like 6-7 password resets from IG saying 'There has been suspicious activity and they think my account has been compromised and that i need to change my password' then i change it to a new one, and i login then i have to do a phone verification....the only thing out of the norm i've done recently is put a link to my web store in 3 of the 4 pages but that's it.... it's really freaking me out because i feel like i'm going to get banned with all of these phone verifications and password resets even tho it doesn't say I'M doing anything wrong, but that 'my account has been compromised' anyone else had this before? i'm BEGGING for answers and could use any help, or ideas on how to prevent this, and if any of this means i might lose my accounts soon.... from getting banned or something.... someone please put my mind at ease, i've grown these account for 15 months and don't know what i'd do without them... sorry for the long post, but any info is appreciated!

By the way, the 6-7 password resets have been between 3 of the 4 pages, not all of them

Are you logging in from different ip addresses?

someone probably jacked your account and use it to spam thats why it keep getting resetted... login through web and check if there is authorized app that you dont know and click revoke access

It's the links that is triggering password reset. You can scare anybody this way. Just go to forgot password and enter the name of any account and they will receive an email to asking for a password reset.

You sure this is true? Damn explains why I got password reset option 5 times last month

how could someone have jacked my account? i'm still posting on it totally normal and nothing else seems off, and how do i check for an "authorized app" and what is it?

my brother and i run 4 accounts, me 2 and him 2, we have both been logging into only "our 2" accounts for over a year and never had a problem so i don't think it has anything to do with logging in from the same IP address..everything got messed up as soon as i put the same link in 3/4 accounts, which is weird because i've put other links that were all the same, in all FOUR of the accounts... i took the link out of every account except my 101K page and so far so good but still nervous

This just happened to me as well and it scared the shit out of me. And I don't even have any links or anything that would trigger this.. Hmm.. I however run some of the accounts on the VPS IP without proxies (just 3). But that shouldn't be the problem.. All VPS are private and not shared right?

Try it yourself..go to forgot password then it will ask to enter email or account name. Enter any account name and itll send an email to that account.

Interesting. Should try this one of these days to my friends' IG accounts just to piss them off. lol kidding!
