Ubuntu Phone??

Currently i use an iphone, and have recently been looking at the ubuntu phone, now this is not to replace my iphone but more just to play with and see what it does, does anybody think its worth the money, an could this ever replace the iphone?

I think the new ubuntu phone needs time to demonstrate how good it is.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a hardcore fan of ALL STUFF LINUX.

I'm tempted to buy one.

How much does it cost? I love linux and I also love ubuntu, but in all honesty I don't think their user facing stuff is developed enough - for example ubuntu desktop is not great whereas server systems are excellent.

Based on that I am not sure if their phone will be good enough.

Yea, I don't think anything could replace the iphone for the next 10 years. I love Ubuntu on my little netbook. And my next laptop will have Ubuntu.

I would hold off for a while. You saw how much money was behind the iphone and they still had problems after some of their releases.

Now i to love linux, and love how much you can do with it... i have used it on my laptop before however currently i am running windows 10, and got to be honest love it.

Now, im going to have my say about the iphone just very quickly, i am an iphone user, and as such i think i kind of have a right to say this, what really changes with each new iphone? i think the best update with the iphone 6 was apple pay, apart from that they get bigger but nothing really seems to change with the os itself, where as if you get an android phone you are again kind of in the same boat, nothing really changes much.

I personally was a huge fan of the ubuntu netbook remix until they discontinued it
