If you're not joking and actually have LLL.com domains then yes, those are worth bank and I'd shop it or auction it before taking $15K.

As to your original question it does seem a little fishy and if it were me I might try to contact the company to verify the guy isn't pretending to be them just to get some credibility. Its quite possibly a scam where he's just scraping and e-mailing mass lists of people based on WHOIS data or similar then seeing who he can get to transfer domains before paying (or after paying and then doing a chargeback) and just scamming as many domains as possible.

it's 100% a scam, i had a friend who got offered 15k for a domain as well,

after you answer they ask you to pay through a certain website, and if you ask to pay through any other means they refuse...

I got a similar email a few days back offering 12K for my domain. Absolute scam.
