One account of mine surprisingly got away with 789 unfollows yesterday, while the day before I couldn't have it passed 350 unfollows. It just lead me to believe these bans are random as well, but seeing one account of mine breaking 600 unfollows gave me some hope!
This is not true. I create my own scripts and over the past year I must have got temp blocked over 100 times and not banned.. They don't monitor how many times you get temp blocked. It may be something they do in the future but as of now it doesn't make a difference.
Also my 120 accounts (10 of them were 1 year old) on Followliker got perm banned last week during the limit changes and not my main account which uses my personal script. Seems like if you go past the unfollow limit using followliker you have a good chance of getting perm banned no matter what age the account is. I been testing the new limits using my script and hit the unfollow temp block every day so far this week and no perm ban. I would never put my main account on followliker, just be careful.
I think someone mentioned previously that the problem is Instagram may be randomly putting a stop on your account for unfollowing if your patterns look suspicious and FL doesn't recognize this and keeps trying to unfollow instead of just stopping. At that point, Instagram realizes you are using a bot and perm bans you. FL probably needs to have an option to cease all actions if an error crops up to avoid this. Sort of like what happens when it hits a captcha.

Agree but the thing is, I'll wake up following an extra 600 users meanwhile the scripts set to follow/unfollow, that means that it tried to unfollow 600 times and failed with no ban.

May be stupid and risky, but some info/insight, I can unfollow between 460-520 people a day, everyday the past week manually in the IG app itself. I do it till i get "temp blocked for going too fast," mind you this isn't a temp ban, it lasts no longer than 12 hours, and is sometimes as short as 6 hours(2 times it's only been 3 hours). I only access IG through FL and the app, the bot is running while I do this. Tomorrow i'm gonna slow down on follow/unfollowing limits and try and make up the loss of gained followers from that method with commenting/likes and push those limits. Right now i'm gaining anywhere from 150-250 a day with current settings but I believe with the right comment/likes settings and maybe minimal 100-200 following/unfollow a day, I could hit the same gained followers if not more. Just have to come up with more comments that aren't spam-like to have posted. If anyone has any comments, questions, advice on comments or concerns, hit me up on skype : Mitchellcolepro
there should be a way to limit followliker to only unfollow a certain amount within 12 hours right? that way you dont have to do it manually? i have thought about doing it manually but I don't want to lose the ability to blacklist someone I unfollow or else you rist refollowing someone and possibly getting reported for excessive following.
Too dangerous to unfollow using FL right now, even if you are there 24/7 to check when you get the temp block and make sure it doesn't keep unfollowing after the temp block. Like I said, i'm going to try to find a way to achieve same results using mostly commenting/liking.

In FL thread here at BHW weblues said (1, 2) that they already fixed that and the software stop doing task when temp ban occurs. Isn't this true and we can not feel safe with that? I've already told them that earlier on forum in FL thread and via ticket system, they said that noted that and there were 3 or 4 updates after that. Didn't they fixed that? I've stopped using FL for about 10 days and few days ago have found all this new limits happened, so I don't know if this new updates they made now work fine. Earlier I saw that if the program continued to count the unfollowed people after you account have temp ban, which was annoying. Could anyone proof that it is still happens?
We should ask them to fix that all together, because this is a huge problem.

Did they give you a version number that this was updated on? I have encountered errors (not of the unfollowing type), and FL keeps chugging away. The errors were mostly if a user used to be public but went to private upon following, etc.

No version number provided. But I believe since this is an important part they should have already fixed that, but I can't check that today. I will look tomorrow if it will continue unfollow Task after temp ban.
That sounds interesting to notice. I've not reached that as I remember.

Strange i can't unfollow in the app ( temp ban ) But fl is unfollowing people corectly WTF ? Anyone know why is that ?
its the exact opposite for me.

If I understand it correct, temp ban is given for certain device. That means if you got temp ban for following/unfollowing in FL, you should still possible to follow/unfollow with another software/device.
Btw, isn't I've just described the way how you can perform many actions (like unfollow) during short period of time (like one day)?
So if you, for example, unfollow 200 people with FL, then 200 with your phone app and 200 more with igerslike/instagress, should that work? Probably should! Wow!
