Contact Instagram employee

I have a crazy idea. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. Could be worth a try.

Since we all got fucked recently by Instagram's new unfollow limits and since nobody REALLY knows the actual follow/unfollow, like and comment limits and what determines these limits for each account (as they are different) based on who-knows-what etc., why don't we try and get in touch with an actual Instagram employee and pay them some money to give us some real insider information that we can rely on. Let's crack the algorithm once and for all. Sure, it'll certainly keep changing in the future but at least we'd have a solid basis to work off of.

Using LinkedIn, I have managed to find a whole bunch of Instagram employees including software engineers. What do you guys think?

It would be pointless. As soon as you get over their wall, they'd just build it higher. Plus working for a major company like Instagram means good pay and a very good reference on your resume, it would require more than you're willing to spend unless you just happen upon someone on their way out.

I actually have a ton of input to add to this, I remember once one of my favorite small social platforms was shutting down due to lack of funds, everyone on the platform had no idea if the app was gonna shut down or not so I just said Fuck it and went to NY to visit their studios. I told the security guard that I had an appointment at the top floor and he asked for proof which I had ready ( a screen shot of the websites/app/platform ) contact information. I have no idea how I got through but he was gullible enough to let me pass. Once there, I talked to the app's Co-Founder and hadan interview myself. I told him that I was an up and coming computer science student and was wondering if he could spare some time. I WAS SUPER LUCKY that he said yes, but we sat down and chatted.


So what did you get out of this? Well duh you can't go straight to instagrams headquarters and a meeting, but it does mean that some employees wouldn't mind sharing info. I'm sure if you ask around long enough you'll get an answer. If one employee doesn't work ask another and another, but be polite and patient because that's how you get what you want. See if you could directly skype with them because direct contact is the best way to go

Love that idea. How would you recommend going about finding people that don't work for IG, but own big IG accounts and are successful on Instagram themselves?

I was searching Facebook for people that do affiliate marketing with Instagram.. Joined a bunch of FB IG marketing groups too. Found one or two guys but the search was all in all pretty disappointing. Would you turn to LinkedIn for that as well?

you can DM the owner on ig, if they have some kind of contact info in their bio, you can try that too, you can also comment on the pics that you want to contact them, at least one of these should work, if they're interested
