A Young College Lad with a Dream

Hello all!

I am new to BHW because I never truly understood what the site was all about. I never took the time to research SEO and I just assumed BHW was a bunch of illegal stuff idk I was young when I first stumbled upon the site. In the past I've made money online through botting an online game on a VPS and I've probably made close to $200 (selling the game currency) doing that for a little while when I was younger. So I've always been curious about making money online. Anyways I'm now a college student and a few friends and I decided to put together a website/niche blog doing reviews for this thing we like to do. (I won't name it because I just don't want someone to steal our idea since it seems no one is trying this market) so I stumbled across an article about making a niche blog and making money with Affiliate programs and Adsense and was immediately intrigued. I pitched the idea one late night to my friends and we were just brainstorming ideas and site names and stuff it was really cool. Now these guys are in it for the hope of getting free stuff to review and just for the fun. I'm the one going to be doing a majority of the actual work and will be making the money. I've been doing research on niche blogs, wordpress, and tons of other things the past few days trying to brush up on my knowledge from highschool programming courses and such. I'll probably end up investing $50-$100 to get started and I hope we can have it planned out and get it running right!
My first goal is to create the site & add content.
My second goal is to make $100 from the site.

This is the start of my journey and I hope you guys can give me some tips and maybe I'll keep you updated how how it goes. Thanks for reading!

You should really think about traffic, buy some seo service, build links etc. targeted traffic worth more than gold these days lol good luck

Yeah i was planning on investing into getting the site up and then some SEO. Still trying to see how this all works still though

Thats actually the article that got me inspired. I'm going to set up a wordpress blog in a week or so once I plan it all out and hopefully I can start generating some small revenue.
