is this a google dance or google penalty?

About a week ago, I was ranking in the top 30 for 20+ keywords.
Now the only keywords I'm ranking in the top 10 are my brand keywords. For example, if the url were ukdance.com. I'm now only ranking in the top 10 for uk dance, ukdance, danceuk and dance uk.


The other 20+ keywords are nowhere to be seen in the top 100.


I added about 300 backlinks a month to two months ago.

To early to say. Ive seen google dance for a month before. But usually there is a lot of bouncing on a day to day basis.

If you added the backlinks about a month ago, they take 2-3 weeks to get indexed, I would imagine (depending on the links), so I would give it a couple more weeks

300 ? That sure helped to finish it for good...

Agree, you need to add another 300 links to make sure it doesn't come back. Who says Negative SEO doesn't work?

The only thing he can do now, is just stop building any backlinks completely and wait a month to see if the rankings comes back.

Check how many of those links are still indexed and resubmit them.

Give it some time and see what happens. Not sure if its a good idea to stop building links though, I would just keep building as normal....
