I experienced that also with no feedback and reviews on profile you wont get job. But the way I earned is joining design contest (only if you are graphic designer).

I been there bro for 2 months and did not got the perfect job so I moved through Fiverr and PPH,I really suggest you to go also with these both websites.
Because creating one milestone there and then wait till the dates for reviews is very long process.

Most people started in the same position as you. Its best to build genuine feedback, go for smaller jobs and undercut people in order to build a solid reputation. Start small

It would be far better for you to create a blogger blog using low competition keywords about your freelance gig, sign up at 5-10 gig sites under the same email, then promote your gig links on your freelance blog. Bring the buyers to you via building traffic for your blog, keep track of the gig orders from your email.

I am in thesame situation and just stumble on this thread just as I was about to give up on the freelancing idea (i've been registered for more than 6 months with no reviews or work ).
