Expired Domains?

Hello,

I'm thinking of building a quality website around a niche that I'm passionate about. Do you think finding a good expired domain is better than registering a new domain name, for a new website? I don't know much about registering expired domains but I read few threads here on BHW and I think that's a cool idea. If I find a good domain name with quality backlinks and a decent page rank, DA etc will I be able to rank my site easily?

I'm not trying to use it for SEO purposes. I'm trying to post quality content on this website and earn from Adsense

It's definitely a better idea to go with an expired domain. There are no good reasons to go with a brand new domain especially if you are going to do some SEO.

It will help you avoid sandbox with a good metric domain, You should check PA-DA-TF-CF and history of these domains.
PA,DA> 25, TF,CF>10. That's my requirement.

expireddomains. net is a good place, but what I prefer better is a broker. You can find many in the market place section who can provide you these domains in form of a sheet relevant to your industry. You can then vet the domain and make decision, please ensure you check DA, DR, PA, TF, CF and check what was the site used for in the past by checking Web archive history.

I would deffo go for an expired domain / one with good metrics. New domains take ages nowadays to rank ( depending on your niche)
