Getting Started , have a question

I have been reading here for a few days and my head is spinning. I seem to be going in circles. I get an idea on a direction/foundation and then read that its outdated etc etc.
I like to do my own search and researching but this is a little overwhelming. I have a good product and website, I just need to start my IM.
Does anyone know of a thread that is up to date with the latest steps? I have all day, everyday, 24/7 to work on this, I just need to get started lol.

so you want to get your product reach out there. Target your market, where do they hang out, can you afford some ads, would you be able to write for some other sites about the topic you specialize in?

Methods are usually outdated here because they get slapped by site updates that don't allow certain spam like activity. It really depends on your product and what you can actually do to be able to recommend anything valuable.

Yes, I want to get my product out there. I can afford "some" ads and "some" services advertised here. I am very capable of writing about my topic as it is my background career.

Its just that I always read leading up to my venture that articles, backlinks, etc are the way to start. Now I'm reading that those are no good anymore.

Something that's very important to remember is that no matter how old a method is on BHW.... its never "dead". Outdated just means the goal posts have been moved since then. Be the one doing the moving or you will fail, and it wont be because the method is outdated, it will because you didn't put your own twist on it. Hope that makes sense.

Ok I do understand. I'm going to get in here and get started and just see where it all takes me. I have lots of time to spend on this and will make the twists and turns
as necessary.

make a nice sales page!
spend some money to advertise your site among the affiliates!
affiliates will sell for you = $$$$$
