Email Marketing Journey - My First Attempt

I am starting this journey to document my first attempt at email marketing. Here is some basic information on what I will be doing.

Email Marketing Service: Benchmark Email
Niche: Freebies
Traffic Source To Get Subscribers: PPV + SEO

DAY 1:
As a test I spent $5 on 50onRed and managed to gain 13 DOI subscribers. This is my first time doing email marketing, so I have no idea if this is good. I plan on sending my first email once I hit around 50 subscribers.

If you have any tips about email marketing, please share them.

I'm still trying to think of stuff to promote, so far I have considered:

1. Penny Auction Sites
2. Coupon Related Stuff
3. Ebooks related to my site
4. Win a Free _____ CPA offers

I am open to suggestions.

I'm attempting email marketing marketing myself.I see here you are promoting cpa offers.What deposit you have to pay to use 50onRed as a an advertiser.I don't want 100% rely on Youtube traffic because of the autoflagging rampage this month.

I set up an autoresponder to send an email 3 days after they sign up. The email is promoting a clickbank offer.

Your numbers seems good, but I don't know about your niche, and the engagement of your email list.
You could setup a follow up sequence so your subscribers recieve content without you having to worry about it.

Depending on your niche, you can give out useful content to your subscribers
so they engage and respond to your offers.

Anyway, I think it's a good idea to go build email list, you get an asset that could yield good results over the long term.

This money in the list thing still works, email marketing still occupies key position in internet marketing space. But do you really can make good money with small list? depends on how targeted is your list? and what strategy you follow to engage your subscribers. However! DOI as being most authentic way of building list, can certainly bring some good luck..
