Thanks, but that method is about how to rank for the keywords that ref-spammers use...
I want to spam other peoples analytics account (so Zwielicht would try to rank with my spam keywords)...

One way I know people are ranking like this is putting a series of 301 redirects in between their spam and their money site then blocking all bots and deindexing any trace of the 301 redirect in Google.
Looks like this
spam -> 301 -> 301 -> Money Site

Ghost spam is referred to as a method of getting a URL / domain to come up as a "Referral" under another websites' Google Analytics, in an attempt to get that website to link to the referral domain (i.e your domain) as a act of kindness to return the favour, but in actual fact, that website is getting zero traffic from your domain and that's why it's called "Ghost" spam. You send fake referral traffic with a script that access Google Analytics directly.

We've been fighting spam for 3-4 months now. Especially smaller websites get really dirty statistics.
We collected 450+ domains so far and created a free tool "ga-referrer-spam-killer" (search for it on google) which adds more than 30 filters to exclude spam from Analytics.

Yeah meh... I just wanted to stop people giving advice how to rank because this isn't about it. It worked for ranking purposes before the google algo-changes but thats not what its about and the answers where completely off topic.

I came across this because I get ghost spam too
No, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cookie_stuffing places a cookie to get affiliate commission. With the Ghost Spam method, there is no real traffic involved at all. It just interacts with google analytics to show up as ref.

Sorry @W130SN - its not (only) cookie stuffing as we know it, I have to admit I just cross-read the infographic.
The infographic shows a way to monetize Ghost Spam and its an idea I didn't even had in mind, so thanks for sharing it!
