What's with the obsession with Instagram?

I've noticed a trend in IM journeys in making instagram accounts. I've been lurking BHW a lot and all I see is instagram. What's the appeal to instagram? Is there truly some money to be made there?

Why not focus on more profitable efforts?

Would appreciate if someone explained it.

I have noticed this too and I really don't know what the reason is.

My best guess: Beginners are already using Instagram for personal reasons, so when they come to BHW and see that there is money to be made online, they decide to go there because it's what they know.

I started one for a family member's business. She sells handmade baby/children clothes that are super cute. She shows them off, people see them and place orders. So yes, there is money to be made there.

I, personally, wouldn't go there. Social media is pretty much the bane of my existance. Facebook is quite enough.

Because the forum got a flood of people joining it with simple minds, who want to increase the followers they have who can see their selfies and pictures of their dogs instead of making actual money.

Spot on this. People aren't willing to invest anything more than wasted time and need to be spoonfed every step of the way towards attaining a status that is saturated long before they arrive. Instagram is the cesspool of the uncreative and non-business savvy "IM'ers".

Because instagram whores make people money. They'll do anything for a few bucks too.

Props to the people who actually make decent money with this method, but I too am tired of seeing a new Instagram journey being created every hour or so. There's already hundreds of abandoned ones already.

Cmon, why is everybody talking shit about Instagram? People use it to make money for one reason - because it makes money. It's just a traffic source and it's a good converting one with lot's of US traffic - that's why.

I personally don't like it because it's one of those methods that you have to coddle from birth to ban, and even then, you're not guaranteed to make enough to pay you back for the time invested.

But while people like Justin Bieber charge $150k per Twitter shoutout, I can see the appeal.

If I was Bieber, (and it kills me to say this, as I do not like the cocky little prick) I would not be interested in $150.000 a tweet. I would just be fucking 30 - 40 19 year old girls every day.

Charles Floate told me a great joke once.

Whats the best thing about fucking twenty 4 year olds?

Theres twenty of them

Because Warrior Forum started charging $5 to register. Kids can't afford $5, so they come here. Kids are drawn to instagram for some reason.

I make 3k dollars a month in instagram working 15 minutes for day, but good thinking guy

Its a nice traffic source if you know how to handle it, and you can make some money with quality original content. just follow people on your niche, like niche content etc. it's easy. I personally don't make any money with IG but I have close friends who are making money with it.

If you know what your doing you can make money on Instagram, I have friends who worked hard and focused on Instagram and now making 20-30k a month

Agreed, people that actually focus on building businesses do well on Instagram,

It's not a platform that works if you're a spammy marketer though.
