What is your goal with this journey?

Thanks! My follow-back rate is probably high because I scrape new urls every day instead of a lot for 1 month. My goal is too get a lot of followers and probably start monetizing later. If you mean my ''Money-goal'', I'd love to just earn some extra earnings - $10 a week would be nice. I will scale it up after I accomplish that goal.

Good will need to test it too to scrape only fresh users but the thing is that i need lots of people to follow each day 60k.

Ah, yeah I see your problem, that's a lot of work . I almost never post Skylikes links yet, all the clicks are on older posts, actually.

Not a problem, I will explain. On Tumblr you can follow 200 people per day, when you get multiple accounts you can multiple the follow backs you get. Growing to 7000 followers on a single account would take about 9 months, when you got multiple accounts you can do this way faster. Rule; the more followers, more money you can make. I monetize by sign-up offers and Skylikes.

How did you arrive at that conclusion? Wouldn't a visitor arriving from a search result be more valuable in terms of potential income than a returning follower who just wants to kill his time before going to bed?

Personally as a passionate Tumblr blogger, I never ever used the search function. If I ever were to click a link it would be because a nice person I follow posted it. (But maybe you are right.. )

Personally as a passionate Tumblr blogger, I never ever used the search function. If I ever were to click a link it would be because a nice person I follow posted it. (But maybe you are right.. )

In my experience tumblr traffic comes from tags / users searching for them. They then land in your posts and hopefully in your blog. That's the main reason for the clickthrough and post captions to be the best spots for ads/links/offers.

I've managed to get 7k followers within the first month. I personally just follow back the one's who already followed me (followback).

People that has previously found you are the ones that will follow you.

You could be not following back, and following only non followers. That way they should give you the followback and not you. So you could be getting followers both ways at the same time. The 200 limit is for your account, does not affect to others because they will follow you once (not 200 times ^^)

If having a domain / analytics / google webmaster tools (also named google search console). You could also get uniques by getting notes reblogs/likes from High PR tumblr blogs (they will give you backlinks and help to rank) to get organic visits. But probably a ban will come before this happens.
