I saw that symbol on nulled Wordpress themes.

Wordpress plugin Jetpack use that smiley face. It is a analytics that wordpress has partnered with to officially steal your user info (I mean by setting cookies...lol). If you are using non WP site, than you are using something that is partner of this said analytics company

Its the jetpack gecko. Go into Jetpack. Configure stats and theres a checkbox to remove it if you want.
