As title say guys, how do You find it out?
as a general rule of thumb you can use the data you'll find after performing a short Google search or the infographic above, however every case can be slightly different or you'll find examples for the direct opposites, it's enough to take a look at that infographic then read this: http://www.techtimes.com/articles/35741/20150226/when-best-time-post-instagram.htm
it isn't really helping you and i'm not sure if this service exists for instagram too or not, but there are multiple twitter tools which measure the activity of your audience and will tell you exactly when they're the most active: http://www.shoutmeloud.com/3-twitter-tools-to-determine-the-best-time-to-tweet.html
however if you read the article above, it can turn out that you don't even want to post when the most people are active, because in the rest of the day, although there will be less activity, but those people will be more engaging, at least that's what the above article states and i think there's some truth to it, so i'm afraid there's no one good answer to this question and you need to find this out yourself with testing
when i last did a bigger ig campaign (uploading pics with 200 accs in every hour each day), which was an ongoing project for a few months, i found that the best time to post is EST 14:00-20:00, these six hours yielded me the best results, it was a non-targeted, mainly US based audience, you may always want to know the geolocation of your audience (you're lucky if you have a main one), so you can adjust your posting to their local time
That would all depend where in the world you are, but I find that where I'm located is
between 4 and 7 PM I'm in the UTC-5:00 Eastern Time (US & Canada) time zone.
I'm not sure if it the best time for me, but I post at 8am (before people go to work), noon (when people are on their lunch) and 5 pm (when people leave work)
LOOOOL that made my day!As a Scandinavian everyone's drunk Friday-Saturday so I always post on Sundays and Mondays when people here are generally most likely bored haha
That's what I'm doing so far, just checked thru iconosquare statistics & my media gets more engaged at 8am & 6pm
I am selling stuff, and people buys the most from 9am to 11 am (and slows down upto 3pm). You asked for posting time, but it may also help someone in ecommerce biz.
true that, if i'm posting sponsored posts or i'm selling something, I usually choose those hours. otherwise, i don't really care about the time.US?
When it comes to physical sales, I see the most action around 6pm-7pm. Then it dips for a few hours and around 9pm or 10pm, sales start to pick up again.
