Some sites not ranking at all - delete them?

I just realized that I have some sites that I made and they are not budging at all. Don't know why. Do you make these sites that are just not moving and what do you do if after some period of time they don't move at all? Just delete, move onto another niche and try again?

I don't understand it. I did everything like I normally do. The research, the building, SEO campaing and they are just not moving. ZERO ranks. So, just delete them and move on? I wanted to know if I'm the only one who has those sites or there is other as well.

On what you can do with them - It depends. If these are sites are critical to your success then you would need to figure out an alternate strategy. Sometimes an external perspective can find out things that you missed to notice - this could be in your KW research, SEO etc. I would ask an expert to evaluate and recommend solutions for ranking.

If this is just an experiment and you don't care too much, you could flip the site or use in other ways like for future SEO campaigns, domain parking etc.

Do you mean that they are completely showing no signs of life? I mean like 300+ in SERPs?

I have few sites which are hell lot less competitive and are not moving an inch from the 150-160 positions. Their intitle competition is less than 30K while I have sites ranking on page 2 which has more searches and intitle greater than 150K.

I was like WTF too. I am entirely not sure what might mess up these but it seems like some projects like these can be a hit or miss? I would be interested to hear some expert advise too.

Yeah, I guess I should try something else then with those or go back and see if I missed something or did wrong.

One site is not moving at all. NONE. I have a few other that are sitting somewhat like yours, on 100+ position, but can't move them out of that no matter what I do. I kinda agree with you with that hit or miss thing. Most of the times I succeed, but some of the sites are just a fucking mystery for me and can't figure out what is going on.

Glad to see I am not the only one. I am having hard time figuring out why they are sitting on 150+ position and showing no improvements even though more competitive sites are ranking on page 2/3. When I see other sites ranking in the same niche, it boils my blood thinking why or what wrong I am doing.

Same here. Some of my sites has better metrics than those on the first page and still not ranking at all. Crazy SERP game.

I guess it depends on the niche and what they are worth if ranked - no one likes to give up but if you are spending more resources on these sites than ranking them is worth then get rid of them and focus your attention elsewhere.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Better just drop and spend my money and time on something else that might work.
