Want to post my wordpress posts to instagram automatically, any solution?

So I post on WP and then I want it to also post on Insta
Are there any solutions existing?

I value your information and suggestions BHW members

Hi, you need to custom bot. This bot can submit article, register accounts and so on. So if you need it, PM me. I can help you.

Try googling "If this then that" you may be able to find a recipe on there that does this

There are no public plugins that I know of.

It may be easier to post to Instagram and then import that into WP.

You cant post to instagram automatically what you post to wp but you can display what you post on instagram on your wp site!

It is not easier as that is NOT what I need and described in the OP.
I clearly said WP to Insta not vice versa as there are a billion places to do that.

You cant post to instagram automatically what you post to wp but you can display what you post on instagram on your wp site!

Why can't we? Is that just an axiom you conjured or is it based on any facts/logic?
*except that you did not find a solution

I would like to know the root of the problem why this is not possible according to you?

You can make a recipe for this on IFTTT. - https://ifttt.com/recipes
There's many Instagram>WordPress. You can make recipes for the opposite.
Hope that helps!

It does not help, there is no solution listed to what I asked for. https://ifttt.com/recipes/search?q=wordpress+instagram

could you post automatically to FB..??

if you could then use zapper.com services and link your FB with your insta...
so once you upload something on your wordpress.. it would upload to your FB and Insta together

I don't think Instagram's API allows this type of functionality. I was looking for something similar and settled on Hootsuite eventually. With Hootsuite, it alerts you when your Wordpress post has published and then you can send it to Instagram BUT you have to be logged into the Instagram app on phone for Hootsuite to then send the post/pic there and then you copy/paste the post into the caption.

So this works for me at the moment as I truly believe that Instagram's API won't allow for what you're asking for.

Here's a link to what I was talking about with Hootsuite. I have the paid plan.

Nanexo, is there a reason why you are being ignorant and rude to those who are taking time out of their day to try and answer your trivial question?

If you use IFTTT as suggested by several members already, and dig a little deeper instead of demanding to be spoon-fed, you can easily create a custom trigger once you activate both the Wordpress and Instagram channels. This custom trigger can be as basic as "IF post to Wordpress THEN post to Instagram".

While it may seem like most of the recipes that are already created for connectivity between the two products, it is simply because the majority of people's needs are from Instagram to Wordpress, not vice versa. It may also be because https://instagram.com/developer/endpoints/media/.

Honestly, I'm not going to take the time to try and make a custom recipe, because it may not even be possible. As a poster above said: "You cant post to instagram automatically what you post to wp but you can display what you post on instagram on your wp site!" While this may seem like a dumb response to you, see http://stackoverflow.com/questions/23195916/how-to-share-my-wordpress-posts-into-instagram.

I don't think this is possible either with Instagram's API. Even when accounts are linked together, it only goes one direction, from IG to FB.

with zapper you could do it from FB to IG actually

But is it automatic? Just curious, or is it something like what I mentioned Hootsuite does?

Or is there a special custom program because I can't find FB to IG at all with Zapier.

https://zapier.com/app/explore?services=facebook-pages

Because from what I've seen thus far is that the API prevents uploads automatically which is why Hootsuite forces your phone to open the IG app and it transfers post there, and you post from IG and not from Hootsuite.

I have checked zapier.com and they do not have facilities for FB to insta only vice versa
Also checked all their insta api and it all goes one way from xyz service to insta not vice versa
if I missed the Fb to insta please tell me I cannot see it.

Yes, API of insta seems out of the question it seems.

The issue with hootsuite is they ask you to go to your phone and click publish so you might as well do it from your phone in the first place.
IMO hootsuite should not even have posted this plugin as it does nothing more than send a push notification to phone which you still have to use then.

I clearly stated for anyone to reference a solution that is ready made. That is not asking to be spoonfed it is asking for resources.
With all your blabbering you have finally come to the conclusion that the recipes are not an option due to API (which another poster before you already mentioned if you even read) and wasted my time and others trying to look self important and knowledgeable while you are not. I would rather you take no time out of your*precious* *cough day to waste my time.
I actually just checked your posts on this forum and there is nothing else than this type of rubbish you are posting on any thread you can find.

I said WP to Insta not WP to Pinterest.

Now you can schedule posts to instagram using hootsuite.
Not sure if you can link wordpress with instagram in one go.
Check it here https://hootsuite.com/webinars/pro/...qjvpVQcBrMbDHRw8FHZNpywVWM8TIKNAXt9pkMQzmAGk=

Already mentioned by the other poster. See my comment in relation to that.

So far I have found http://www.bluestacks.com/ which is an android emulator and you could run instances of this on a server and let it communicate with other services like twillo or callrail
Also another option is this reverse engineered instagram private API https://github.com/mislav/instagram/ using Ruby on Rails
Not sure how well that would work though.

Still looking to see if anyone else found anything.
