Hi guys,

Does anyone know anyone, or any contacts that can help with getting a Twitter account verified? It's for a media/radio presenter/interviewer account. I know Twitter verification is just an icon on a profile but for someone who hasn't been in the industry very long a blue tick is a good way to stand out above competition, also in terms of tweeting other verified accounts, it's easier to be seen with a tick as many verified profiles will simply have their interactions set to 'Verified'.

Hey guys,
here's what I've learned about this process. I hope I don't offend anyone who "means well" but Twitter blue checks can ONLY be placed on an account directly by Twitter. Anyone who makes overtures that they can get it done in 30 minutes etc.. Run like the wind. Because that's the direction your money just left.

I think there are a few with an inside track to the ivory Twitter tower, I'll post again if I meet one of them. Until then, please don't waste your money and time trying these approaches unless you know for certain that the account will be badged AND you pay after. Peace.

Agreed, twitter is rolling out a new product in the next few weeks. It will be a twitter "Brand" page. I believe this will be by invite only in the beginning. I suspect if you do paid advertising with them it will be easier to get included in this.
