My Twitter Account Suspended . . .

My Twiiter Account Suspended but no reson is given. It seems it is because of unusual activity.

I relly don't know what this is, I am not spamming but was trying to build an active account.

I had just over 1000 I am following, and 900 followers. I don't read this as a problem.

I welcome any feedback or help anyone can offer.

Contact them. I have accounts with 2000+ followers suspended.
But they worked on automat, posting links only.

Same here. 2 accounts with 1k followers each. No spam and no advertising was done with them.

Yes. This is very unusual. I would say its because you may have abused the system in some way although I'm not sure how you would do that on Twitter.
I guess now they've realised that many people are now using twitter to promote home based business that they are restricting any form of advertising it. Just like they are doing to Youtube I guess in a very similiar way.

I think twitter has huge market potential for various methods:

--> Fast traffic bursts when you need your CPA stats to check out.
--> Various methods of targeted advertising.
--> Great way to create buzz
--> Advertise product/business to new customers

I don't think you can really make money without botting it of course as it would take to long but, that's why I'm planning to develop some nasty bots to rape twitter.

I am pleased to say that my Twitter acount is up and running again.

No explanation from Twitter except to hint at problems their end.

I really do like Twitter, it is fun, fast and enjoyable but my guess is Twitter is going to piss off a lot of people if they keep up this kind of performance.

I know it easy to simply launch a new Twitter account but all the time and effort put into each account becomes just a waste . . . if accounts are lost overnight.

Yep so far I've had several accounts suspended. I do post links every half hour to hour on a few of them. All links are different - come from an rss feed. Odd, as tweetlater and other services offer these rss feed type inputs to twitter. Otherwise, I'm not abusing the system at all, and tons of others have accounts with 15k followers and are posting every 5 minutes. It's insane. I'm not sure what marks my accounts other than maybe they're new. But even some older ones got banned the same way. Right now I'm making several accounts and having "backups" ready to go when one gets taken down. It seems to be the only way to combat it for now. All attempts to reach their cust service go nowhere. I never get a reply. Perhaps I should threaten them. hehehe. "Listen, just leave this one account up, I'm only gonna post once a half hour, otherwise, I'm gonna create 200 accounts and post on each every 5 minutes." Maybe they'll listen to that reasoning.

This is the worst they can do, however. And I get good traffic from twitter pretty easily, so it's worth it to me to create more accounts to handle the problem.

twitter bans accounts very easily and sometimes for no reason so i just said fuck it, now i make 50 a day and follow 1k each instantly and milk it for a day or 2 before they get banned, talk about throwing a whole bunch of shit on the wall and hoping some of it sticks

What do you use to create accounts? Manual?

I've noticed a few things. My accounts that post EVERY HALF hour get banned. My accounts that post every half hour, with a few blocks of hours that post nothing are fine. Consistency seems to bug Twitter. Keep your postings from tweetlater or otherwise on a random posting schedule as much as possible. A few hours every day where you have no posts seem to help keep the accounts alive. Most of mine are now, and I was getting banned like mad before.

I think Iggypop is right. Too much consistency may be recepie for deletion. I had established accounts w/5000+ followers dropping at an alarming rate. I averaged only around 1-2 posts per hour on automation.

Of the accounts I have left, I left half alone and removed all automation from the rest. I'll see what happens. Actually, I really don't give a s*** anymore.

Quite frankly, I think Twitter is becoming a giant waste of time. The earnings have dwindled to a drip and the traffic from there has gone from the best to the worst converting traffic I've ever seen.

Time to move on to more profitable endeavors......it was fun while it lasted...
