In the past few months Yellowpages started their pay-per-click campaign. Everything is brand new and the account was a hassle to setup up initially. Had to speak with a rep over a few weeks to finally get things setup.

I was ready to be disappointed but I am happy with $.01 clicks considering there is little to no competition. I am running two niches right now and getting ~50 quality clicks per day.

You still have to compete with the other types of listings but overall you get great positioning on a popular platform.

Just wanted to give others a heads up on this opportunity which will not last long.

Is anybody else utilizing YP payperclick? I would really like to connect with other users that are working with PPC campaigns to share tips and best practices.

which website you are using to sign up ? Please share the link

That is insane. I had a rep call me about a fixed price ad before, didn't know they offered a PPC model. Will have to check it out.

It is definitely worth the hassle. The sign up process may be easier now. I almost gave up on it after all the back and forth with the YP rep.

I do not have a link. YP reached out to me over the phone. You can probably find more info here http://adsolutions.yp.com

The more I look into it, the less I think I want to deal with that shady company.

$0.01 per click is indeed low. As our ad platform which runs desktop/mac in-app ads, our advertisers pay $0.15-0.2 for per ad click. But they get excellent conversion rate. Although you think $0.01 is far low, how about the conversion did you get?

I am converting well from YP. I sell a laboratory test that people mostly need before searching.

Any type of local service can probably do well with YP PPC.

Few Questions

1) Is there any minimum deposit like $10, $50 to sign up or you need high budget to start advertising?
2) Can a person from any country advertise on top tier converting countries or one has to be from USA to advertise?
