Follow ban

Hi guys,

Today I got a weird follow ban. I usually manually follow 1500 people a day and never get follow ban and this morning I followed like 100-150 people and got a follow ban but not the usual follow ban with a pop up, the one when you click follow it goes green and then immediately white.

Any idea what's going on ?

Same here with unfollow, got follow ban by unfollowing 200 with slow delay, but Im still able to unfollow

Yo if you are talking twitter - they have been updating their algorithm and ito messed up follow quotas. Interesting to hear what platforms you use either. Eg manage flitter etc

I just had an idea about this maybe its this, since when you use the app to unfollow they say its 100 minutes of waiting time to able to unfollow 100 people so I assume if you do the math then try to wait 2 hours and see if it works without going to your account, let it rest during this time who knows maybe it might do the trick.

Well it's been more than 2 hours and still can't follow. I think I'm good for a 24h ban so all I can do is wait anyway.

how many people did you follow in the last 24 hours? then maybe its 1 people per minutes so the best thing is to wait that much minutes and then maybe it might work because i assume every seconds its an update i think so if you mess up 1 you screw for the day or some time i think.

I don't know precisely how many people I followed in the last 24h but I follow 1500 people a day on average from the time I wake up till I go to sleep. I think that you might be right.

You should let your account rest for a while because everytime I got that kindof ban on my accounts, my engagement started to suck and I think that it's because you're flagged for suspecious actiivity. That's why now I don't EVEN risk to go too fast on my newest accounts because I dont want to grow extra fast if it's to get flagged and then have my account on the blacklist.

Maybe also it's simply because you reached the hour limit but just avoid getting that kind of block (especially if it lasts for 12 or 24 hrs)

then maybe try this, if you follow 1500 then dont even go for at least 15 hours to the app and see if it works because if you follow even 1 person it goes back to square one i think.

or if at worst if there is no success it gets lifted every month so if it is today then next month after today it will work for sure but if you got blocked at lets say 500 following you need to unfollow 100 and from there it will be your follow limit and also you should be able to follow just fine and when you see you can dont touch it until next month if you want it to work, i dont know anymore they keep changing too many things it is hard to keep up.

Well it's been more than 2 hours and still can't follow. I think I'm good for a 24h ban so all I can do is wait anyway.

I usually wait it out for 2-3 days and most of the time the ban gets lifted. Update us when it does.

Still not working as of now and no I didn't reach the following limit since I'm only at ~1600 follows.

try this maybe, unfollow 100 and below 100 meaning 1500 for you dont follow no more than that for the month and then it should be lifted and then you should be able to follow this works for me its instagram's ways of telling you to stop I assume.

I unfollowed 300 people and now I can follow people, what does that mean ? Does it mean that I have 6000 private accounts waiting ? O_O

that is your follow limit instead of 7500 for the month if you dont want this to happen you need to make a follow limit yourself that is what I do on mine and so far or most of the time I dont have problems but if you keep retouching the follow limit it will happen again and it will be shorter over time, like if you retouch it they take away 100 everytime.
