Hey guys,

I was being curious and since a member of my family want to get his own real estate website I was wondering if I could find some expired domain, either to start off with a headstart or to use redirect 301 for some link juice.

I came across a wide number of domains with the word "real estate" in my language and I found this particular one :

These stats stands out from what I use to see, but I don't have much more knowledge than that in terms of SEO. So I'm wondering what is it worth on the market ? Should I use it to build a blog and put adsense, or parking on sedo would be more profitable ?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked link profile or are you just looking at those numbers...?

Well I wouldnt pick up a domain with a tech backlink profile and rebrand it to a real estate website

Yes, it's a lot of directories actually. Maybe I shouldnt jump on domains that easily. Does it still has value in his field ?

Are directories/realestate considered as tech or not ?

EDIT: wayback machine shows actually a very legit real estate website, regrouping all the construction project in Paris & their prices.

I have access to domcop as well and those tiny red squares represent "tech links if I am no mistaken" while the pink stands for Regional , anyway , it may be majestic that it's not determining the topic of the links as it's supposed to,

I am a big fan of relevance , btw check the site on screenshots.com as well , don't forget anchor texts ,

Adsense good if you have or plan have traffic from SE, parking enough if you have just referral or type traffic

To me domain looks good, just check moz spam score, number of backlinks and anchor text; try to find if the domain is not penalized

Yeah, I totally agree with 'noviceseo'! Checking if the domain is not penalized is possibly the main thing you need to know!
Friend of mine bought domain and later on he realized that it is penalized domain, which was basically a junk or waste of money...
