Major scraping by maxbounty

I haven't ever had problems with MB they've always paid me on time but recently
I ditched my landing page and redirected straight to my offer only to find out I'm
missing about 2k clicks so far this month which is $600 at .30 EPC. I understand
they have to make money to but shouldn't they tell us that we will only be paid for
70% of what we earn? Has anyone else had this issue and if so have you said anything
to them? I'm afraid if I complain they'll just ban me.

If you're sending them quality traffic, I see no reason why you shouldn't talk this over with your AM.

You will not get banned by doing this.

Okay I sent her a message and she claims that the 2,000 clicks are all foreign. I understand some of my traffic is foreign but I HIGHLY doubt 30% of my traffic is foreign when im scraping american IG acc's with almost all american followers. I will setup another offer for 3rd tier traffic to redirect to and see if the stats match up then, will update.

Conclusion-

Maxbounty is not what they claim to be, I have found another CPA network with similar offers paying more and they've only scraped 2 clicks!!!

My EPC went for low .30's to .50!!!!!!

Every network scrape. But it does not really matter if you can keep your marketing cost down. It is just part of the game. Play within the rules and everyone come out a happy winner. So conclusion, when you forecast your business, take only 60% of your predicated revenue as the benchmark to determine your profitability. There is no complains or anything that you can do as long as you are in the CPA niches.

Do not be surprised that EPC went up when switching to the new network. However, it won't be long before they are also shaving you. As others have pointed out this is par for the course in the CPA industry. One of the advantages of having a well developed infrastructure is that it is very easy for these networks to do what they want with your traffic.

I think the truth in your scenario lies somewhere in between foreign users and/or MB shaving at a high volume.

P.S. The term is "shaving." Scraping is something completely different.

I guess if I were weird and lonely I could PM myself, I hope I can find one network better than MB. I've made alot with MB but I'm missing 2.5k clicks this month and I follow redneck, weed accs etc. with 70-80% US followers so I know foreign traffic is less than that, I have a redirect setup for basically any click coming in now so time will tell how many clicks are going ghost on MB. That's the beauty of using IG I don't have any ad cost but it still sucks to see 35+% of my hard earned traffic vanish.

Yep, single opt in e-mail submits. My EPC is roughly 43 cents

As everyone explained above, Almost every CPA Network shaves upto some extent and a good thing is Some Shave Less and Some Shave more.. They also got to maintain everything and without shaving they wont be able to maintain the whole network thing.

If they are lightly shaving then its fine but IF they are doing it heavily then you should consider to move out and split test with a different network with similar offer and see how it goes..

EPC sitting at .48 with 193 clicks even though my link tracker says 227 I'll take this anyday over MB shaving and dropping pays.
