Great responses. It seems like a normal malfunction.. I will stay posted for an update.

The main keyword has made a full recovery (almost). It went from 23 to 17 and it's been less than 6 hours.

That's just for the main keyword, I have a few long tails that are getting clicks to my site. Thanks for the help

Long tails will never disappoint you. If I were you, I would give it a little time. As soon as everything settles down, I'll re-engage and review the situation. Blog comments wasn't a great idea, OP.

Sadly a few hours after the main keyword rose to #18, it dropped back down to #23. Now over 24 hours later and after some more on page seo improvement, it's still there. My other keywords have also dropped. However the keyword that I said in the OP went from 50 to 32 is now at 25. Hopefully this is the google dance?
