Top Posts for Hashtags gone?

Has anybody else noticed that the 'Top Posts' in hashtag searches has disappeared? Looks like it's back to the old way where only recent photos are shown.

Btw Im on Android and i didn't notice an app update either...

Oh well, back to the old times.

But, maybe they're just fixing or improving them.

Probably too many BHW'ers gaming the system haha.

seems more like they're fixing them. on my hashtag I had a photo that was up there for 2 weeks with no comments and 40 likes hashtag is pretty popular, not like 100 photos in there and that's it

I am experimenting the same problem in android in my main account which is no good. All my other friends are organic and they still have top posts.
Maybe they are targeting the ones that bot, in that case gg it was fun my friends but its time to say good bye.

Nope, I'm not botting and can't see them on android app but can see them on web.

do you give a lot of likes? my other idea was that they where doing a control group to see how users change their interaction if top posts are removed.

I just noticed they were gone on iOS, think they'll bring them back soon.
They're still appearing from the web however.

i did research yesterday, checked many sources and nothing, instagram also did not say a thing. but many users are having the feature removed.

Anyway top posts did not give more interaction, well at least that's the case for me. Maybe that's the reason for removing them. it was more of a trophy thing.

This sucks... I'm not boting, but I'm following a lot of the followers of the accounts displayed as "top posts" when I search for my niche related keywords. Do you think they've targeted me because of that? Someone mentioned that his/her friends where not experimenting this.

On my personal account, I don't have it and the IP isn't used for any type of spam at all.

Mexico, and it is not one of the countries they plan to implement ads.

Well, since they're not back until now, guess they won't bring them back at all.
It's been more than 2 weeks. Maybe they just tried Top Posts & it didn't work out (in their advance).
