I want to recover a site for my pbn using the way back machine archives. Is there a software out there that will download the whole site for me rather than having to save each page individually?

I don't think there is any such software.

It seems so doesn't it. There a number of services offering to do it for you but I was hoping that there would be a desktop software available

OP, give HTTrack a try if you haven't done it yet. I'm assuming your PBN site is not that huge, and size is the problem mentioned in the link you have been referred to.

Remember to check Options->Spider->No robots.txt rules in "Preferences and mirror options", second or third window.

Good luck :)

I've a made a tool to do this: hartator/wayback-machine-downloader on GitHub (for some reasons, I can't post it as an url)

There is a great website that I have used to download full website from archiveorg: the website is waybackmachinedownloadercom

Gotta love the first time posters, trying to promote their softwares, links and tools.. NOT.
