Getting Spammed by eWhores on Skype

This simple Skype/IM (instant messaging) AI bot has been around for ages. It is built in a way to automatically reply to your messages based on certain words/sentences you say. The logic behind the bot is the same as those chat bots you see on websites that chat with you and try to sell you their products when you are about to leave the website. A bot that has a really good AI module can make some serious cash spamming hundreds of profiles per day, hence why you see them so often (my own personal Skype has been spammed at least 5 times in the last 3 months so far).
 
The sad thing is that they are barely above the quality from 2004. If I was going to do it, I would at least have some quality control by using machine learning and more powerful hardware.
 
I get those constantly - at least once a day but more often 3-5 of them. It used to be fun to do a completely unscientific Turing test on them but they're fairly boring nowadays (or maybe it's just me). My favourite was when I asked one if it was a bot and it called me a dickhead :)
 
Okey, this may sound weird, but I only started to get those(and other spam in my email) after I signed up to bhw. I think you know what that mean , don't you ? :)
 
E-whorers are fucking annoying, can't believe people still do this shit. Probably bots
 
Do these things actually make cash? Lol, I don't get it. So they flirt automated messages until they basically say "I'm on cam, come to my site"?

They make money by spamming thousands of people day every day.
