Yo yo,

I'm thinking about hitting up Europe with a few friends, well probably next year. I'm already just thinking about it and trying to plan where we may go.

However I don't know where all the sweet spots are. I was hoping anyone that has been to Europe/lives in Europe could kinda tell me whats hot.

It is really all up in the air right now, we may just be backpacking, we may go to one area, we don't really know. That is why I thought I might ask some other people for their input.

Maybe some people over the pond could give me some ideas.

I know I want to hit up Amsterdam, for certain reasons. ;)

Let me know!

Well it depends my friend,
Are you looking to really experience the culture,
Go site seeing, and visit historical spots,
OR just go have a shitload of fun like your typical tourist?

If you like bud, try denmark.
Avoid the UK, nothing to special there and its expensive as hell. (When I went it was the same as being in a poorer united states)
I did enjoy france,

Really enjoyed germany.

Just do some research, try hitting up the major tourist spots only once, and spending the good amount of your time in slightly lesser known places. Youll get more bang for your buck!

Come to Germany my friend. You know German girls are hot, cheap beer, sneaky history and museums, and is not far from Amsterdam.

Cheapest option is to get a round trip ticket to London, UK! Personally i am originally from Manchester and think Manchester rocks but then i am obviously biased! But seriously get a flight to London, its probably cheaper than flying to any other part of europe - i used to get good deals all the time! If your after history in the UK - then London, Stone Henge, Edinburgh, Bath, York.

Personally i would try and hit up the Greek Islands or Ibiza if you want hot girls from all over europe, cheap beer, sand, sun and sea!

However this is the most important tip i can give you to save some $$$$

Before you go check out ryanair.com and do your eurotrip based on the flights you can get from them - if you do it properly you can get flights for around $40 for your inter-euro country flights around europe!

Use ryanair to look at flights from London to Dublin, Ireland - then look at your flight options from Dublin!!! You can pretty much go anywhere in Europe from there for about $40 or less!!

Hope that makes sense! :)

Thanks for the reply homie. Frankly I'm looking to have a good time and I'm sure my friends are too. I'd probably go site seeing when I'm a bit more aged, maybe when I'm married or something. I wouldn't mind seeing the sites, but I can't say that's my primary objective.

Don't smoke too much anymore, but that would probably be the main reason I'd hit up Amsterdam or Denmark as you suggest.

I'd really like to go to Germany as I actually know one or two people there. Thanks for the advice on hitting up the lesser known places, thats kinda what I thought.

Yup, Amsterdam is a must! Hahaha!

Haha, no doubt. Used to be a big weed head in my teen days so I definitely wouldn't mind dabbling there for a while.

I'm about 50% German, I really want to go there. It looks awesome there and I've met some people from there and they've been real pleasant.

Also about 50% Swedish and those girls are smokin too. Might have to hit up both.

Makes perfect sense dude. Thanks for that tip I'll definitely look into that.

Amsterdam has 2 things id wanna check out.

1. Their cafes(selling this whole variety of things)
2. The Red Light district

Europe all in all is an awesome place to be....however if you want beaches and beach partying I'd say the Greek Islands or Ibiza in Spain .....ull DEFINITELY have a good time there i assure you. Mardi Gras Spring Break and Cancun's hype is nothing compared to those 2

dude go to holland for sure. went there with my buddies and fucked like so many hot hollands hookers.
some hookers will fuck you for free if you look good and not all trashy

there weed there is the shit too

also DONT go to the UK!!!! dude its so freaky over there. i had to go there with my buddie to pick up some shit from an old friend and its so vague there.

people freak me out there. its never sunny, all foggy, cold wet and depressing. people are so freaky there dude i got freaked the fuck out. the air in england smells like total bunghole and im not even kidding.

i was smoking a cigarette outside some market in greater london and some old, freaky lady with horrible breath and YELLOW ASS TEETH was freaking out on me saying she was going to kill me if i dont put out the cigarette. and i coulndt understand her i was like what what i can understand you and she called me a stupid american and called the police on me so i was out.

worse experience of my life.

you cant judge the UK just on London - I lived in London for a year and did find it to be one of the rudest places i have ever lived, but there is some really cool places outside of London, i hate it when i talk to people and they tell me they have been to England and then to find out they only went to London....

I lived in Hamburg for 18 months and that was a blast although i did have some unpleasant moments there too

Been to Prague that was a blast - i was best man and took 18 of us there, lets just say what happens in prague stays in prague! Dirt cheap too... if its still there check out gold fingers! ;)

mmm I also lived in Belgium, Leuven - small city but a cool place, Stella Artois originates from there great Beer! Two universities - big mix of european students studying there!

Crete is a greek island - been there a couple of times had some crazy ass times there too! :)

Wherever you go am sure you will have a great time!

I think Paris is a must but I strongly suggest Prague , I bet you will find very special, especially for an American , it's kinda special as it is a mixture of orient and occident

if you like the music scene check out the v-festival its an open air 3 day concert i went a few years ago and had a blast! All types of music!

This was last years line up - http://www.vfestival.com/index.html?pid=3415

Ohhh yah, I'm definitely down with that. We have a small festival out here in Michigan called the Electronic Music Festival, it's pretty cool but I'm not very in to techno. But one year Mos Def was there and that was pretty tight.

Thanks for the input.

Hhaa, I just have to tell you tit your avatar is probably one of the funniest on this forum.

Anyways, yah I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Amsterdam. That would probably be my first choice out of Europe. Haha, since I live in the states smoking buddah out in the public isn't really looked highly upon. I just want that freedom for one time in my life.

Yep, I believe you were the second to suggest Greek Islands so now I'm starting to look into that. Wouldn't mind hittin up Espana, heard the women and food are top notch.

I also heard that Brazil has the most beautiful women on the planet, but that will probably be another trip!

Thanks for the input.
