You can download IceFloor (sorry can't post links yet, google it).
Once you've installed it, go to the "Firewall" tab.
Select "Blocks" from the list.

And follow the registration process that OP described.

I guess you didn't block the third IP range or may be values are invalid.
It tends to SEO Spyglass only.
Please correct them & it will work for sure.

Step 1: Delete the registration file from users directory.
Step 2: You just need to re-install rank tracker.
Step 3: Re-enter credentials & it will work again.

PS: Proxy often cause error if your using the semi-dedicated.
 
is there a way to disable automatic updates? i hate that i have to reinstall the software everytime.it automatically updates and i am given the invalid registration key popup.

avast free antivirus

eevrytime i run seo powersuite the thing it keeps updating before it starts and then i immediately get this message that i have put in an invalid key....pls help:(

The AVAST disable you internal firewall and use there firewall.
As a result, your facing this sort of issue.
Can you block the IP address range from the Avast?
I'm sure it will work :)

PS: You can disable the AV for a while and then check, it will work.
