What do CPA networks track?

Hey guys

I want to have a go at creating a bot that fills CPA offers (prob 1 page submits).
Yes, yes I know it's dumb and it will get me banned, yes I will get caught. Can we just discuss the ways that the networks track if the visitor is real making the offer credit?

So the obvious ones would be:
- time spent on page
- ip address and assoc info (i.e. proxy checks)
- CSRF checks
- User agent

What else would they track and consider when deciding if the offer coverted?

If you wanna know how they track everything maybe the best way is to ask them instead of trying to know it by yourself. By doing so you will end up having you account banned which means you learn nothing from what you've done and your precious time.

I'm not sure what exactly they track besides IPs, time and user agent but I tried that before and it's not going to work. Furthermore, programming a bot won't be easy anyway because you need proxies (most likely from different countries) and this means that different offers will show up, potentially with different forms required (and different labels) so it may be close to impossible to tackle this variety. And persistent lack of JavaScript and Flash (if your bot doesn't use them) will be suspicious too. And I see a ton of other problems so if you can really automate the process and don't get caught, you'll be my master.

Haha, this is pretty much what I expected.
I have been told it's impossible, so it's really just a challenge for me and to learn node.js

They basically track the IP and and have some of their own inhouse compliance team to keep eyes on publishers. If you do this there are many things which can happen and I'm listing a few of them:

1- They might blacklist you from whole industry.
2- They will BAN your account and you wont be paid any money at all
3- You will probably end up wasting your time and learning a unsuccessful way to con a network.
4- MANY MANY MOREEEEEEEEEEEE

Another thing they look at is the backend conversions.

If the advertiser sees a ton of people not converting (which you will never know unless you ask your AM) then they'll complain to your network and your earnings will be revoked.

Also, a ton of reputable networks have a "blacklist". If you've banned on one network, chances of you being approved in another network will be close to 0.
