I just started up with LinkedIn and want to know how I can get others to notice me on there. I do not know anyone really that is on the site so where do I start?
Join some groups and start interacting. Try to build some genuine connections.
You can then invest some money and buy some connections. But for now, focus on getting things done manually.
You should make a good profile, attend some groups, have good posts, create attractive events or send them free small gifts to attract the attention of others
You need to be viewing other peoples profiles in your niche. When you do that you will get noticed and begin to get connection requests. Also join 50 Regular Groups and 50 sub groups.
Make a good profile that will allow you to stand out and start interacting with others in groups. If your profile is interesting and you gain interest by interacting you should see some kind of success.
I found the best way to get someone to notice me was to interact and get myself known. Joining groups and getting to know people in the groups works well.
It's the same as you would get anyone to notice you in terms of anything. Interact, join groups and talk about the things you enjoy and meet new people and this will give you exposure and help get noticed.
Joining groups has done well for some more fake personal accounts. Trying to build a little linkedin network to eventually direct into a master account. Interested to see how gaming this social network will do.
Join groups and start interesting discussions.
If you have a verified profile, then start posting blogs or pulse as they call it - this could be a good option to gain lot of followers real quick if you post something that can go viral.
