Web 2.0 PBN Network?

Hi,

I am curious to know has anyone succeeded with only web 2.0 PBN? I am testing a new site with only web 2.0 PBN, and would like to know how it is going for you if you already tested it .

Yeah it works with other diversified backlinks and social signals. Diversity is the key my friend.

It depends on competition/KW difficulty. Tried ranking using 1 year old+ web 2.0s which are all indexed for med comp as well as local clients (low comp).

It does work, but you will need to backlink them, so out of the box it will do nothing for your rankings, but if you power them up with a good GSA tiered backlink profile you will rank for mid level keywords.

I am already trying that, but getting the content of web 2.0 indexed in Google hasn't happened yet. Do you think it would do better if i use any aged domains instead?

Make sure that your web2.0 not a noindex is, i have good rankings with local stuff and only blogcomments and web 2.0 links, though the web2.0 are 6 months or older now

A lot of opinions but likely very little actual testing. In general no matter how much you want to "blast" your 2.0's will only carry you so far. In small niches this will work fine for the moment but in anything bigger it'll be a small part of a much larger pie.

I'd bet you're correct. I rarely test anything I don't expect to work. Correction - I NEVER test anything I don't expect to work. As a direct result of this I almost never waste time on unsuccessful tests. While I may occasionally miss a solid opportunity I also am available to pickup on more obvious ones. Let me just say - I won't be testing this, and who cares if it works for small niches ... it's time consuming, challenging, fraught with issues, and unlikely to succeed. If that is not a recipe for disaster then nothing is. There is lower lying fruit than this out there.

The problem with web 2.0s is that 80% of them are N0F0LL0W. That is the main difficulty of trying to rank them if you pump some links as tier 2. Since we so accustomed to random linking, most of t2s we build (and sometimes, almost all the high PR) go to the NFs. If you have a solid list of DF only blogs and build them up using unique content, they will start to rank on their own. Get high PR links as tier 2, point to BOTH homepage AND the inner post containing the links then you will see substantial boost.

The only difficulty is how fresh the blogs are when you put the links in. Since they are sub-domains, basically, their age starts at day 1. Fortunately for me, I have blogs which are 1 - 2 years old which were part of a service before (unsold) and some were part of the blog networks I build before for a test.

Hence, when a new project comes in that is low to med comp, I don't invest in private blog network links or high PR links since the aged indexed web 2.0s can do the trick. But the web 2.0s are like only 1/4 or 1/3 of the links I build so as always, it's only part of the diversity.

So you will only test already "proven" methods? Like refining methods already made public in order to make sure? That is how I understood your post.

The problem with that is, SEO's foundation is in testing. If what you do is being done by at least half of the BHW community, it gets saturated easily. Nobody knows Google exactly that is why testing is key if you want to stay ahead of the game.

And as for saying "who cares if it works for small niches", you're being both arrogant and ignorant. Some small niches can't be pumped by high PR links because of how tight competition is and how fragile the domains are. You have to find the whitest links out there but still maintain the juice. Given that small businesses belong to small niches, there is some serious cash to be made but certain links are ones looked on by clients as "good stuff" while the other hardcore stuff are a taboo for them (given they ask for full reports).

Yes web 2.0 Only also helps to improve rankings but to get on 1st page only web 2.0 can't help, try to mix it with .edu or bookmarks. Note: I am talking about Long Tail keyword plus done test case myself for few sites.

I have tested Web 2.0-s in the beginning of the year. I chose only d0follow and doindex platforms and I had like 30 different platforms in my list. I used them for PPD niches and together with a little spam sent to them they got my kws to page 2-4 but never higher. PBN-s were the final push that got me moving after that.
