Just noticed i was charged a $1 for withdrawing fiverr money to my paypal, so now its 20% + $0.50 + $1.00 for each cashout. They are truly squeezing every fucking cent they can, fuck them.

Fiverr, through its partnership with PayPal has a Send Money fee capped at $1 up to $50 or 2% for every withdrawal under $50 as stated in our Terms of Service.

Imagine if there is no fiverr this most visited micro jobs platform, even there is no charges or fees to showcase your job or cashout, what is the use? Stop complaining of $1 or 20%, see into the big picture.

is better to chasout when you have atleast $100 and above in your balance

better cashout your money when it's 50$+ in this way you can minimize fee

Don't forget buyers pay 0.50 fee when they buy a gig.

Fiverr is not the only website that provide this kind of service, you know! They are becoming very arrogant and this will kill them eventually.
$0.5 buyers fee, $1 (20%) taken for every gig and the $1 withdrawal fee ( which does not bug me ). They are becoming arrogant and greedy they are taking at least $1.5 for a basic $5 gig, which in my book is stealing.

And don't give me that BS that what is there is no fiverr, there are few other platforms that are big and can easily replace fiverr in a hart beat if they continue this road.

Agreed I think they're getting a little big headed, I wish another micro job site would take them out already. I hate doing business on Fiverr, but I'm stuck there cause it still makes me decent money.

"Fiverr is not the only website that provide this kind of service, you know!" do read again my post

I have tried few mirco job sites, but none of them can compared interm of visitors, conversion rate... I have to agree their customer service sucks, but I am making good money from them, so dun give me BS on what I know.

As for the statement "taking at least $1.5 for a basic $5 gig," that separate the loser and winner. For me, I always think of making $4 instead of $5.... Do you have free rental when renting an office?
Also I am not making $5, there are single order of over $700, but I am happy to get $560 after the 20% cut, if there is no the MOST visited micro job site like fiverr(of coz I know fiverr not the only one), how can the buyer find me???

I am happy with my earning with Fiverr ...

VERY impressive earnings. Would you care to share in what category you are offering your gigs?

My opinion doesn't matter, but I did Fiverr for a long time and was always angry about the bullshit fees they'd charge so I decided to create my own site so I could be in full control of my services.

Now I lose 2.9% + $0.30 of every sale to PayPal fees - even more to international buyers
And not to mention 5-10% of all sales usually result in chargebacks

That was the great thing about Fiverr - they saved me the headache of having to deal with all of that mess

But no, I don't have a problem with the stupid little fees they charge. $1 is nothing. I just look at it as I'm in their house so I gotta pay rent. My problem was the never ending bugs and shitty support. I'd leave for the weekend so I'd pause my gigs and put vacation mode on. Then I'd come back 3 days later only to see that I'd have 5 or so canceled orders for not delivering on time and that my rating has dropped because of it. Then support tells me canceled orders can't be removed. What a shit show.

Similar to Plus44 above, started my own site.

You've gotta consider, I now lose about $0.50-60 cents on every $5 sale to Paypal fees, plus if any chargebacks happen or whatever I've gotta deal with them.

Fiverr's fee is not that great if you consider they're stuck with paypal fees, and deal with Paypal.

Honestly, Fiverr could do a fast one and turn around and say that everyone will pay their own fees for withdrawals! For me that would be $0.30 + 3.90% PER Withdrawal! That's $4.20 per $100 withdrawn. I have no problem with fiverr's $1 fee per withdrawal. The $1 per gig taken and charging clients $0.50 more on the other hand, I'm not a fan of that, but hey, they've gotta eat too, right? :D

Well , i think you didn't face any problem with charge back. Every month , every week i got charge back. After I delivered service and their fucking support said , there is nothing to do

Go "blackhat" style and figure out a way to work your services from that platform to grab recurring paying customers OFF that platform. It's not even that blackhat actually, but probably against their TOS (I'm not a fiverr seller). But that's the way I'd do it.

You certainly can't rely on a third party platform to be reliable for your income in the long run. Otherwise, you're setting yourself up for the rug to get pulled from under you :P
